. Photoshop 2015.5.1 Update (8/8/2016) 8/8/2015 – Today we released Photoshop CC 2015.5 update version 2015.5.1 (Mac and Windows) to address several issues. It is a Canon 9000F. Certainly current drivers and absolutely flawless with every application and also Photoshop up to 2015.1.2. As mentioned, Photoshop 17 is a bloated, terrible thing with less quality ans instabilities. When Photoshop completely crashes and disapears because of its TWAIN-interface, Photoshop developers missed a lot lessons about proper error handling – or better error avoiding.
I am so frustrated with every new iteration. More and more feature which are not really interesting an a most complete software. But every new version is worse: bigger, slower and less reliable.
Why not developing for speed, stability and code optimization? It is really time for that. Hi Jeffrey, thank for caring. Don’t believe the product description. From your link there are new drivers for El Capitan just two clicks away.

? Sorry, the Crash Reporter didn’t not show up. Photoshop 17 (2015.5) really cashed and disappeared completely. Only the crash dialog of the OS X system come up and I pressed the button to to send those reports to Apple. I used the Adobe TWAIN plugin in the most recent version. Now, I have PS 2015.1.2 with the same TWAIN plugin working again, without any flaws. I will only update again if I see the TWAIN bug fixed.
I have currently no time to do additional experiments on my production system. Hope you find the bug, also for usable speed on a 5K iMac for PS and Lightroom. Today I received some icc profiles back from my paper supplier after printing off profiler test charts and sending them to the paper supplier. The profiles were emailed to me with the following information at the top of the email: “Lightroom (version 2015.6) or Photoshop CC (version 2015.5) have recently been announced as incompatible with colour management and ICC Profile usage owing to an update mistake by Adobe.
Adobe Photoshop CC 2015.5.1 v17.0.1 Multilingual MacOSX| 1.38 GB Adobe Photoshop CC 2015, the industry standard for digital image processing and editing, delivers a comprehensive package of professional retouching tools, and is packed with powerful editing features designed to inspire.
Prints using this version will come out with very wrong colours and it cannot be corrected using these versions. The only way to truly fix this is to roll the programs back to a previous version.” I tried printing using one of the new icc profiles via LR where the softproof image looked perfect and the printed image looked dull as if it were an underexposed image – nothing like the softproofed version. This has never happened before – up until today all prints were fine and icc profiles from the same company used. It seems there is an issue with the Adobe software and I cannot find any information or discussion about it anywhere. I wonder, Adobe are you reading this? HI I Encounter a major problem when working on a Cintiq 27qhd,i suspect it has something to do with Photoshop 2015.5.1,Radial Menu and the Remote that comes with the Cintiq,But not sure When working i suddenly get a ( Your device battery is low-Please connect the device to you computer and the Precision mode view pops up and after that i need to restart the computer.the whole computer works like it has a “Virus” acts really wierd. I get the same ( Your device battery is low-Please connect the device to you computer ) under Photoshop 2015.1.2 but i can still keep working without any problems( besides it has a brush lagging).minor problem consider working with Photoshop 2015.5.1 My Machine is a Imac 27″ Ultimo 2013 – Processor 3,5 GHz intel Core i7 -Mem 32 GB – graphic card Nvidia Geforce GTX 780M 4096Mb OSX El Capitan V 10.11.6.
Installed OS-X Sierra and now Photoshop 15.5.1 crashes when attempting to print. Print dialogue opens and settings can be modified, but when attempting to print PS crashes perhaps 9 out of 10 attempts. Most frustrating. I'm printing to an Epson 7890, but I have seen the same issue cited for Canon.
Adobe support told me that Photoshop has not been tested on Sierra, but in reality Adobe has had Sierra for months and have even published known issues. I pay a ton of money for this thing to work and this nonsense from support is very annoying.
